Saturday, September 30th, 2023: Condel Echague's .365 Average Tops in AL
The American League season came to a close with Condel Echague on top with a league-leading .365 batting average. The Cincinnati right fielder swung the bat well the entire season.

He concluded the year with 205 hits, 27 doubles, 4 triples and 38 home runs with 137 runs scored and 128 RBIs.
Wednesday, September 13th, 2023: 200 Victories for Cincinnati's Brown
Keith Brown of the Cincinnati Reds pitched his way into the exclusive 200-win club today at Central Ohio Grounds by stopping the New York Yankees 4-2. In his historic outing, he surrendered 9 hits and 2 runs in 8 innings with 7 strikeouts and no walks.

With a huge grin on his face, the 35-year-old Brown told reporters after the game, "Now I got to get real busy -- and start working on my next 200 wins."

To date in his career Brown is 200-92 with an ERA of 3.26 and 2061 strikeouts.
Monday, September 4th, 2023: AL Trophy Goes to Echague of Cincinnati
Like a battering ram, Condel Echague hit the baseball with brutal efficiency last week, gaining himself the American League Player of the Week title for that stretch.

The Cincinnati Reds right fielder rapped out a .632 average with 12 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored.

This season Echague has hit at a .376 clip with 113 RBIs, 30 home runs and 112 runs scored.
