Friday, September 29th, 2023: Husted on Top of His Game
Earle Husted was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Royals. He shut them out 3-0 on 4 hits with 4 strikeouts and no walks.

The Texas manager said, "Earle was very aggressive tonight. He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."

The losing manager had praise, too. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well. Husted has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that offspeed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."

In 32 starts this season Husted has crafted a 10-13 record with a 4.11 ERA.

Monday, September 11th, 2023: Great Week for Kansas City's First Baseman
This week Craig Pettigrew, first baseman for the Kansas City Royals, hit his way to the American League Player of the Week Award.

Pettigrew put on a hitting clinic with a .462 average as he belted and battered AL pitchers for 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 8 runs.

Pettigrew is currently hitting at a .297 pace with 32 home runs, 97 RBIs and has scored 74 times.
