Friday, September 22nd, 2023: Contreras Selected SL2's #1 Batter
The Sub League 2 has given Ángel Contreras the Outstanding Hitter Award.

In 2023, the Chandler center fielder was outstanding with a .323 batting average, 28 doubles, 4 triples, 32 home runs and 118 RBIs. Contreras also had 29 walks, scored 88 times and posted a .369 on-base percentage.

This weekend Contreras will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.
